What is Fire & Feast?

Fire & Feast soft-launched in February 2025, with plans to run a true launch in early 2026. We are not yet ready to accept full manuscript submissions, but would love to connect with you to talk about a future partnership.

Fire & Feast is not a hybrid or traditional publisher, but we aren't a vanity press either. Submission of a manuscript is not a guarantee of publication. We favor compelling, immersive, and character-driven stories that utilize a symbolic language consistent with the Christian tradition. We don’t shy away from depicting or discussing human fallenness, but we want our stories to reveal a rightly-ordered anthropology.

We are not a full-service publishing house, which means that we do not offer in-house editing, proofreading, or cover design, although we do curate and are happy to share a list of recommended professionals in these fields.

Why Fire & Feast?

You've written a story you're proud of, and now you're ready to share it with the world, hoping to find a cohort of loyal readers who enjoy your story as much as you do. But you're primarily a writer. Wearing the hats of editor, proofreader, formatter, book designer, publisher, and marketing specialist feels like... a lot. This is where Fire & Feast comes in.

Our team has navigated the world of self-pubslihing before. We've made plenty of mistakes, re-uploaded manuscript files more times that we can count, and found the inevitable post-publication typos that we hoped we could avoid. Now, we want to share that expertise with you. We've created step-by-step guides that will walk you through each step of the publishing process, from formatting that text document to utilizing affiliate links to maximize your profits. We've curated a list of trustworthy and competent publishing professionals to turn to when you need a little extra help. We handle the overhead costs of website hosting, software licenses, and setting up your book. And, by sharing your book alongside other books of proven quality, we help you get in front of readers who might otherwise have missed your book.

Our goal is to free up your headspace so you can keep doing what you do... telling stories and connecting with readers.
